{Carol-Lynn & Kyle} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Billings Estate
We had the pleasure of capturing Carol-Lynn and Kyle’s wedding this past weekend. They had a wonderful location for their wedding ceremony at the Billings Estate Museum, located in the southeast end of Ottawa. The Billings Estate is the oldest frame home in Ottawa and has been designated as a National Historic Site. It was built in 1829 and the same family occupied the residence for five generations until it was sold to the City of Ottawa in 1975.

They were such an adorable couple, they were first introduced when they were 17! After 9 years of being together, Kyle popped the question, and of course, Carol-Lynn said yes!
As a special treat for their guests, the happy couple served frozen ice cream! This used to be a custom in garden weddings of the past, and was quite fitting for the amazing period location!
Their wedding was followed by an elegant reception at the Holiday Inn Select in Kanata. The room was very well put together and everything turned out great!
And of course, during dinner, I borrowed their rings to get this ring shot:
