{Chelsea & Scott} An engagement in Calabogie

I first met Chelsea when I photographed her brother Matt's wedding in the fall of 2009. Their family was amazing, and both of them are so outgoing, I know I'm going to have a blast at Chelsea & Scott's wedding this coming summer! Chelsea and Scott chose his family's hunt camp up near Calabogie for their session since that's where he proposed. We had a great day with lots of sun back in October! Read more

{Melissa & Keith} An Ottawa Valley wedding in Renfrew

I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa & Keith's wedding this October in Renfrew. It was a little cold (6 degrees) and very windy, but nobody complained, we had sunshine! There's something about small town churches that's just amazing, the light, the intimacy, it's like they have a personality of their own. St. Michael's Catholic church in Douglas is no exception, being just around the corner from Melissa's family farm. Their wedding was such a pleasure to photograph as both families are very relaxed, kind and generous. Read more

{Kelly & Kevin} A country wedding at the Mill of Kintail and Almonte Agricultural Hall

It truly was an honor to photograph Kelly and Kevin's wedding this September. Some may recognize Kelly from their experiences at Sinders Bridal in Carleton Place, which is where Kelly first heard of us, and throughout the years, decided that we were going to be her wedding photographer. Kelly and Kevin had a lovely intimate ceremony at the Mill of Kintail, followed by a simple yet fun reception at the Almonte Agricultural Hall. Read more

{Rachel & Eric} An intimate “elopement”

Photos by Brian Blog post by Ivanette I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Rachel when I started working at a new job in January, and getting to know her has been one of the highlights of my time there so far. Over time, we got to talking about our lives outside the office, and she learned that Brian is a photographer, and I learned that she was set to marry the love of her life, Eric, this fall. The rest, they say, is history! When you see Rachel and Eric together, it's truly captivating...they laugh together constantly, and when they look at one another, are almost consumed by the other. The energy they have together is wonderous and infectious, and you really can't help but be happy in their presence. Read more

{Miss R} Bridal Boudoir

We've had to keep these photos under wraps for a few months now, and are excited to be able to finally share them! Miss R came to our studio a few months ago for a bridal boudoir session. Since her session was a surprise for her (now) husband, we couldn't share them online. Miss R had a great time during her session, and I hope her husband enjoys her images as much as she does! {Erin & Chris} A wedding at St. Peter’s in Pakenham

You can't help but notice Erin's outgoing, bubbly personality! Erin and Chris were a pleasure to work with. We had previously had a blast photographing their engagement session, and had been looking forward to their wedding this past Saturday. Erin and Chris chose St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Pakenham, which is one of the 7 wonders of Lanark County. In the morning, we learnt that Erin's Grandfather had a hand in helping build the 5 span bridge in Pakenham (yet another of the 7 wonders of Lanark County), so a quick stop for some photos, then it was off to Burnstown for some photos on the farm. We had a blast at the reception with the smoked beef and chicken. A big thanks to Erin, Chris and both their parents for their wonderful hospitality! Read more

{Tracy & Phill} A wedding of family and friends, Almonte, Ontario

When Ivanette and I moved to Almonte 4 years ago, one of the first people we were introduced to was Phil. Since then, we have gotten to know Phill, and he's always been there when we've needed a hand. We've learned that he is truly one of the kindest, gentlest, most generous men around, and he is a wonderfully dedicated father to boot. We were very happy when Tracy came to hold such a special place in Phill's life, and one night in mid December when we were in the middle of renovating our new studio, Phil called us up, and was in need of some guidance in setting up his proposal to Tracy. Needless to say, we were both very excited and happy to help. Read more

{Kristin & Clyde} The Grey Gables Manor & Germania Club, Pembroke

Kristin and Clyde held Pembroke's wedding of the year last weekend, and it was a treat to be involved and capture the memories of two wonderful families joining together.  As you may remember, we shot their engagement session a while back in some of the coolest spots,  all with significant sentimental value to them for the family history. {Mary-Anne & David} Intimate wedding in Arnprior

When Brian and I met with Mary Anne and David for their initial consultation, we were delighted to hear they had planned an intimate, family oriented wedding in their new (old) home.  This past Saturday, our expectations were pleasantly (and overwhelmingly) exceeded!  Their beautifully decorated historic home was the perfect backdrop for their celebration--they have just recently purchased it so it was a great opportunity for many to congratulate them on all the new happenings in their lives.
