We first met Jingjing and Nick at a wedding show this spring. In getting to know them, we quickly learnt that they are two truly genuine and honest people. Both were brought up with traditional Chinese values, and their wedding showed that. Family was number one for this wedding, and was very apparent throughout the day.
Jingjing and Nick chose to see each other before their wedding, which allowed us to capture their formal images earlier in the day, giving time for a break after their traditional tea ceremony to relax before their reception!

One of my favorite parts of a traditional Chinese wedding reception is “cheersing”. The couple, along with their parents go to each table to thank them for coming and “cheers” them! Some members of their families couldn’t make it for the wedding, however they were still part of the celebration via FaceTime on an iPad!
