{Martine & Chris} Married at the Brookstreet Hotel

Martine & Chris celebrated their love by hosting a beautifully uncomplicated ceremony at the Brookstreet Hotel, one of Ottawa's luxury wedding venues located right in Kanata. I've known Chris since we hung out in high school, and thanks to social media, have kept in touch over the years. We were thrilled to hear that Martine had said yes when Chris popped the question, and even more so when Chris was in touch soon after about capturing their day. Luckily, they decided that just in case it rained, they would have their ceremony inside, and that decision paid off! The day started off as hot and muggy, and progressed into a wild downpour just about the time we were ready to shoot their portraits.  Thankfully, the Brookstreet has gorgeous architecture (and some great glass canopies!) that made my job a bit easier despite the weather. Here's to a beautiful wedding, a long and happy marriage, and old friends!
