{Jennifer & Matt} A country engagement near Pakenham

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that this past Sunday Ivanette and I had two engagement sessions. Both couples are Jennifer & Matt, and both have their wedding in October of this year. I’m not sure what the odds of that are! For our first session of the day, we had the pleasure of capturing Jennifer & Matt at the farm she manages. Jennifer is a 7th generation farmer. Even with the heat, we had a nice relaxing afternoon in the fields. We finished their session off by cooling off in the water beneath the historic Pakenham 5 span bridge.

{Katrina & Chris} A winter wedding at Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm

Katrina & Chris have been planning their gorgeous outdoor winter wedding for quite some time now, and for one of the few times, I booked them without even meeting them. They have been living in Alberta and have had to do all of the planning from there. A big thanks to Heather for recommending us to Katrina after we photographed her wedding this past July. Another rarity was that Ivanette, my wife was unable to attend their weekday wedding to assist me. Thanks to Liz Bradley for being my second photographer /and assistant.

{Erin & Chris} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Kilalloo

A very wise country duo by the name of Brooks and Dunn once said, “You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl”, and that’s what this special day was all about! Erin was raised on a farm in a little town outside of Ottawa called Killaloe. She came to Ottawa to study and work in the health care industry. Little did she know, that she would be introduced to this boy from Perth who would fall absolutely head over heels for her! Erin and Chris put together a wonderful, simple country wedding to celebrate their love!
