{Val & Marc} Ottawa Wedding Photographer at the Renfrew Golf Club
We first met Val & Marc at the spring Wedding Show. Ivanette had a great long chat with them about their wedding plans for October 2010, and how they were looking for a photographer who thought outside the box. Yes, originally this happy couple was going to take their time to plan their wedding. However, about a month later they contacted us, stating that Marc was to be deployed with the military and they had to move their wedding up to this year. After many frantic phone calls, we finally found a date that worked for their venue, the Renfrew Golf Club, as well as ourselves. Val & Marc had a wonderful (but chilly) ceremony and reception that highlighted their personalities and the love they have for each other.

So, weekend off! We are still going to a wedding, but this time as a guest. My cousin Ryan is getting married in Toronto. We attended their rehersal dinner last night. {Tammy} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Trash the Dress!
Rarely does a photographer find a bride who is so in tune with a concept for a photo shoot that she actually says "I could..." and volunteer to do something amazing for a shot before I get the chance to ask. Tammy and Jay were married last December in Cuba, and got in contact with us a few months ago regarding a Trash the Dress session. They live in a picturesque little village on the outskirts of Ottawa, and they have an incredible view of the water right from their house!

{Eden & David} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Orchardview
This past Sunday, Eden and David tied the knot at Orchardview, located in the south end of Ottawa in the beautiful village of Manotick. They had a gorgeous day for their wedding; the sun even cooperated, which has been rare around here lately! Their ceremony truly celebrated their love and committment to each other and their darling daughter Emily. She even had a stunning little red dress to match mommy's! I actually went to high school with Eden and all of her lovely bridesmaids, and even worked with them on occasion. After high school, however, with moving, and college, and new careers, we lost contact with each other. That was until Eden stumbled across my ad on Facebook! I am so glad Ivanette and I were able to share in their day and capture the memories of their truly unique ceremony.

This Sunday we got together with an amazing couple Val and Marc. We will be capturing their wedding this October! We met them at the spring wedding show in Ottawa and had a good little chat with them, not too long after that we received an e-mail from "the fun couple" and we knew exactly who it was! {Jennifer & Bobby} Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Engagement Photos – Mill of Kintail & Pakenham
Jennifer and her mother Susan first saw us at the Carp Fair last fall, and fell in love with our work. Jennifer wasn't even engaged yet! So when Bobby surprised her this winter with a gorgeous diamond ring, she looked us up and chose us as their wedding photographer. Hockey is a huge part of their lives and they have planned a fabulous hockey themed wedding this August that Ivanette and I will have the pleasure of photographing for them. We got together today for a great engagement photo session in Pakenham and Almonte (30 minutes west of Ottawa) and simply had loads of fun with them! We have great plans to incorporate these photos into their wedding, but that's a bit of a surprise in the making.
